Olympic Sportsbook is matching donations from its online sportsbook players through Sept. 15 in an effort to send $100,000 to the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund.
Players can call or e-mail the customer service team to have funds donated directly from their Olympic Sportsbook account. Funds will be matched up to $50,000, and a check will be sent up to $100,000 to the Red Cross to assist victims of Hurricane Katrina.
Olympic Sportsbook is updating its Red Cross page daily with the total donations received. The page also provides links to resources, as well as daily messages about the progress of the donation efforts. Interested individuals can visit the page at http://209.35.73.113/olympic/RC_relief.htm for details on the progress of the fundraising drive.
