The police in Delhi did a thorough job raiding on what allegedly was a video game facility for children. Police officers were taken by surprise when, instead, they detected casino gambling devices, sprawled in all their glory. The owners of the parlor were immediately seized.
The arrested game mechanic said that no advertisements of the place were made, but those who stopped by and found about it could slide in 100 and retrieve 200, so obviously people were enticed to come back for more of such incredible gambling opportunities. This parlor has been running for several years. At times, some youngsters would instigate fights over the loss of their money, which would drive the police to arrest them. But within 6 month or so, they would come back again, searching for more gambling excitement.
These machines are programmed in a way which allows gamblers to either win nine times more, or lose it all at once. This mechanism easily inflames gambler’s appetites to a much greater extent. Though it is the first time such gambling machines were discovered in the Capital, the police is convinced that more operation of this kind occur in the city.
